3 one-of-a-kind Sakura Blooms to benefit Feeding San Diego ♥
Handcrafted from start to finish
We care where our scraps end up. This season, we sent a box of our silk scraps to our friend and textile artist, Rachel Ehlin (aka Mr. Blue Skye), who worked her weaving magic to bring these remnants new life in the form of three hand-woven panels - each crafted into a one-of-a-kind Sakura Bloom in our San Diego workshop to benefit those in our community facing hunger this holiday season.
Tickets on sale today through Monday, December 1. Each ticket purchased is an entry for a chance to win that carrier. Winners will be notified via email on Tuesday, December 2.
100% of ticket sales will be donated to Feeding San Diego.
About Feeding San Diego:
Feeding San Diego provides reliable access to nutritious food for children, families, and individuals in need, while also reducing food waste through local rescue efforts. Their work helps ensure no one in our community has to face hunger alone. Learn more about the work they are doing here.
About Our Compassion Project, a zero-waste initiative:
In the spirit of giving back to our community and our earth, our Compassion Project is a layered structure of recycling, reusing, and repurposing pre-loved carriers and scraps of silk, linen, and bamboo into art and nonprofit donations.
Since 2016, together as a community, we have raised and donated just over $115,000 to an assortment of incredible nonprofits working hard to make a difference in our world. View more of our Compassion Projects here.
