The Key to Chest-strap placement!

Every inch of our carriers are adjustable, which is amazing when you get that right fit, but sometimes you need to experiment first.

Here are our top tips on how to get your chest straps in the best spot for ultimate comfort and thus, longer, cozier carries :)

Find the right strap setting

Before you pick up your baby, make sure you play around with the strap settings to guess-timate where your strap will lie. You want it centered between your shoulder blades - not too high on your neck, and not too low down on your back.

No idea where to start? Try the middle and go from there ;)

Loosen webbing

If you have taken your Scout right out of the box, the webbing might be tightened all the way, which you will want to loosen. This will also allow you to move onto the neck step with ease.

Picture doing up a necklace

We say that if you can do up a necklace, you should be able to reach for the strap behind you. Once you walk the panel up your baby's back, the straps should easily be able to grab if you've loosened the webbing first. Then loosely do up the strap before you tighten each side...

That's it! Easy as 1, 2, 3!
