A Benefit for the California Wildfires

A benefit for the California wildfires.

The Compassion Project, a zero waste initiative.

THANK YOU TO EVERYONE! WE WERE ABLE TO RAISE $24,210 TO BENEFIT THOSE SUFFERING FROM THE CALIFORNIA WILDFIRES.
5 artisan weavers.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
5 boxes full of textile scrap "waste".
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
8 one-of-a-kind Sakura Blooms to benefit the California wildfires, specifically…

California Wildfire Relief Fund (via the Disaster Recovery Network)
Baby2Baby (specifically their Disaster Relief Fund)

We care about where our scraps end up. Which is why we sent five boxes of our silk, linen, and bamboo scraps to five talented weavers across the world. These were woven into panels that they shipped back to us to craft into eight Onbuhimos which we will raffle off in order to benefit those suffering from the devastating wildfires in our home state of California.

Hand-crafted from start to finish.

Each carrier is lovingly handwoven by textile artists, Jean DegenfelderMr. Blue Skye, Saori Salt Spring, Roving Textiles, and Wild Within Weaves

Tickets on sale Friday November 16 - Tuesday November 20. Each ticket purchased is an entry for a chance to win that carrier. Winners will be notified via email Wednesday November 21.
