We wanted to pop in with a quick workshop update as we’re in the middle of a very busy week here at the workshop and want to make sure that you don’t miss any of it. So let’s get to it!
Compassion Project: Families Belong Together
An initiative to support those in need of aid, defend rights and dignity, and help keep families together until we end this period of fear, harm, and violence.

The reality is that the cost of every part of making our carriers has increased significantly. It’s frustrating to face challenges that make doing what we love more difficult, but it’s also motivating and inspiring. These changes push us to lean even harder into the work we care about most: sourcing beautiful natural fibers, collaborating with talented artisans, and crafting each carrier with intention and heart.
As the world seems to want us to move faster and with less heart, we are reminded why slowing down, creating thoughtfully, and staying true to our roots is so important. Your support makes it possible for us to keep exploring, innovating, and sharing the work we love. Thanks for being here with us and helping keep this kind of meaningful, handcrafted work alive.

The official public drop will be the first week of February, but as a thank you to our community, we’ll be giving our Unthreaded group early access to shop these for a few days this week at our current pricing. Once they launch publicly, they will be at our new pricing beginning February 1.

After a short break over the past year, our Basics Linen collection is back by popular demand and available in the shop now. Perfect for all seasons, these carriers have a classic linen texture and are pre-washed and tumbled dry in LA, making them soft, floppy, and ready for all of your everyday adventures.

SB Babywearing Office Hours 🤓
We’re making a small schedule change to better support you.
SB Babywearing Office Hours with our educator, Paige, will now be held on Thursdays at 10am PDT instead of Tuesdays. These are open, shared learning hours where you can drop in for fit checks, comfort support, guidance, and tips.
We’ll also be live on TikTok on Wednesday at 10am PDT, and we’ll have a babywearing question box up in our Instagram stories on Monday. However you prefer to connect, we’re here to support you.
