Workshop Update ✂️ for Mid-October
Ok, here we go! A huge thank you to everyone who shared their thoughts, ideas, and amazing feedback over in Unthreaded about our “not-so-weekly” workshop updates. We’re so energized by it all and excited to keep going, especially knowing how much you enjoy reading them!
As I mentioned to some of you in Unthreaded, we’re just starting to set up our studio space here at the workshop. We moved into the new space back in June, and it’s been insanely busy since but we’re finally ready to start creating a dedicated content area - our thread wall, sling wall, video room, and more. Lots of fun things to put together, and we can’t wait to share it with you as it comes together.
On the production side, there are lots of moving pieces already in motion! Here’s what we’ve been working on over the last few weeks and what’s coming up soon:
First things first! Simple Silk 🥳
It’s almost time ✨ Our four new Simple Silk colorways will be dropping next week, and later this week we’ll be kicking off all of the festivities, so stay tuned for all of the dates and details! If you’re new here, Simple silk were the first carriers we ever made, and are quite literally the only one you'll ever need. They're that good 🤌

Our community group, Unthreaded, will have early access so if you aren’t already over there, come join us!

And a few updates on all the other fun stuff we make:
🌿 Maven
We just wrapped up a small preorder for Woodland and Acorn maven last week. We’re busy making up a few extra Woodland that we’ll be restocking in a couple of weeks. If you grabbed an Acorn during the preorder, consider yourself lucky. We’ve decided not to make many more, and only a couple will be available when Woodland restocks.
We also released Oak, Montauk, and Bittersweet Silks paired with our rich Walnut leather. These will begin shipping in mid-October ✨
🌾 Venice
Solstice with Walnut leather is coming back soon. We’ve got a fresh batch in the works and they’ll be restocking in the next couple of weeks.
We also just wrapped up a surprise preorder for Starlight with Walnut. it was a quick one but so fun to squeeze in. Thanks to those of you who suggested it and were able to grab one!
And as mentioned above, Toffee Scouts with Walnut leather are dropping back into the shop tomorrow morning at 10am pacific time. If you’ve been waiting, now’s your chance.
🧇 Waffle
Our preorder for Brown Sugar, Forest, and Coco Waffle carriers is open now, with shipping expected toward the end of October. We’ll likely be bumping that ship date out soon, so if you’re hoping to be part of the earlier batch, now’s a good time to grab one.
We do have a couple of new Waffle colorways planned for later in the season, but they’re still a little ways off.
🧶 Weft
Happy to report that most of our FW25 Weft carriers are in stock and ready to ship ✨ Soft, textured, and perfect for fall, they offer cozy support with a beautiful drape, a fan-favorite not just for the season ahead but amazing year round.

1. Leather vs No Leather, what’s the difference?

3. Will you be restocking _____ (insert any colorway not currently part of our Fall 2025 lineup)?
We have been making carriers for 19 years, all in small batches. This is to say that we have had A LOT of colorways. While we would love to be able to offer them all again someday (ok, maybe not all of them 😅) the reality is that the majority of these colorways live in the archives and will remain there. This is what is so fun about our secondary market, it can almost feel limitless!
That said, we do enjoy revisiting past colorways from time to time. If there’s one you’d love to see again, the best place to request it is through our Restocks and Suggestions form here. That’s how we keep track of what our community is interested in.Feel free to free to add yours here.
