Workshop Update ✂️ April 3, 2026
We’ve been traveling in Thailand as a family for about a week and a half now, and have been enjoying every moment together. The beginning of our trip had a few hiccups (a quick student visa situation that sent Teja and Eric to Laos for a night so she could reenter on a tourist visa 😅), which gave Jai and I a little extra time to explore Bangkok before we all met back up and made our way to the beach in Krabi, where we’ve been laying low, eating, exploring, snorkeling, and just recharging together after having her studying abroad here these past few months.
The boys are heading home on Monday, Jai back to school and Eric back to the workshop, while Teja and I will be staying in Thailand a bit longer, enjoying some much needed mother daughter time. We’re not entirely sure where we’ll land next, but we’re thinking about making our way to Phuket for Songkran and just seeing where we can go from there. We’re keeping it simple and flexible, figuring things out as we go. At some point, we’ll be heading to India for some textile sourcing, meeting up with friends, revisiting some favorite spots, and exploring a few new ones along the way. We’ll be back to shipping on Tuesday! Everything on the site has been marked back to “in stock” in preparation, and anything that previously had a Mid April ship date will be heading out this week. Back to our rhythm, just from a few different corners of the world 🌏

Weft 🍃 Muir is back, plus Birch + Carmel leather
Yes, it’s true… Muir is back! We’ve been weaving more Birch and Muir over the past couple of months and it’s finally arrived from India. It’s being cut and sewn in San Diego as I type this, and both are now available paired with our new Carmel leather, so stunning together. We’re starting with a small batch while we catch up, so if you’ve been waiting, now’s the time. Once the first batch is gone, ship dates will move out.

This was such a fun one to bring to our community before we left. We only have a few left and they’re ready to ship, and since we used all of the silk, this one won’t be restocking.

We’ve also been busy pairing our new Carmel leather with some favorite colorways across Maven, Basics, Waffle, and Simple. Some of these use the last of the fabric, looking at you Banff and Ranier 👀, so once they’re gone, that’s it.
Silks for Summer 🏖️
Are you ready… we shot something fun before we left! A few Simple silk colorways are coming for summer, wearable, water play friendly, and so good. We’re aiming to drop them in the next couple of weeks… I just need to find a place to sit still long enough to make it happen 😅 Stay tuned!

It’s been a special few weeks for us, and we’re so grateful for this time together and for all of you back home.
