Happy Sunday, everyrone ✂️ time for a little workshop update!
Per usual these days, we're getting lots and lots of questions about restocks and everything we have going on here at the workshop. I've been feeling a bit like a broken record over in Unthreaded, but having this new platform to give updates that we can link to from ALL of our social channels is a game changer for that so cheers to bringing back the good old blog!
First things first, Happy Mother's Day week, everyone 💐
We've got a fun week planned, starting with a little Maven restock on Monday and capped off with a little... SAMPLE SALE!
Yes, you heard that right. All the details, on all the restocks and workshop updates you could hope for are below!
Maven: Monday, May 5, 10am PDT
It's true, we've got a small restock of Maven coming off the floor and restocking on Monday at 10am pacific time. This is a small batch of our most requested colors and styles, it is not everything. We will be giving members of our community group, Unthreaded, early access to shop the restock so if you aren't over there already, come join us! 👯
We are hoping to do a more thorough Maven restock in June, once we are settled in our new workshop!
Sample Sale: Wednesday, May 7, 10am PDT
OoooK. Here's the scoop. We usually hold two Sample Sales a year, depending on inventory, but this year, we’re switching things up. We’re moving our summer Sample Sale to Mother’s Day week!
Why the change? Well, our “let’s get out of the preorder era” has left our shelves looking a little bare lately (you might’ve noticed 😅). And since we’re also gearing up to move into a brand new workshop (!!), we figured:
Why schlep everything over when we can let you shop it now?
Important note: This will be our only Sample Sale until winter, so there won’t be a separate one this summer. This will be a smaller offering than usual, so we’re keeping it low-key and giving early access to our community group, Unthreaded 👯♀️💕 If you haven't joined yet, now would be the time. Join here.

Waffle
Coco and Forest have arrived! Sparing you the details, I've never been happier to see a package. We've already started cutting them up and are hoping to restock them the week after Mother's Day!
All of our other Waffle colors (Honeycomb, Forest, Mochi, Shiitake, and Surf) will be back mid-June-ish, is what we're thinking right now. The plan is to push these through the week after our June Maven restock. As always, things can change but this is what we've got on the production plans for now.
Simple
We just did a restock last Friday and have plans to make up some more, including some Stardust and Tearose, the week after we make the Coco and Forest ✨ so what we have on the site right now is it for a few weeks!
Weft
Yes! We are working on new colors for our raw silk and cotton Weft collection. This is on the looms now, and we are hoping for a late June drop!
Getting Off Preorder
We did it! We shipped our last preorder on Tuesday, and for now, we’re officially off preorder. Will it last forever? Who knows! But we’re enjoying it while it does.
We're excited to be in a place where we can just make things, stock shelves, and send your orders out like a “normal” business, haha! Thank you for sticking with us while we worked through the chaos, it’s basically like paying first and last month’s rent at the same time. Not easy, but worth it.
Now comes the slow part: restocking. It’s going to take us a bit to fill the shelves again, so thanks in advance for your patience while we ease into this next chapter 🧡
Our Workshop Move
This is going to be an interesting month. We still haven’t found a new place and need to be out by May 30 🤪 Never one to shy away from a little procrastination, I’m not too stressed, but Eric, on the other hand 😅 Let’s just say opposites attract, haha!
We’ve got a few appointments lined up this week, so fingers crossed we find the one. The tricky part is, we’re also hoping to open a new shop this year, so we’re trying to find the right balance. It’s tempting to go big and get a space that could handle everything, but that might be too much if (or when!) the shop becomes its own thing.
We’ll get there!
Wrapping It All Up!
So yes, it’s a lot right now - restocks, Sample Sale, moving, and slowly rebuilding after preorder life. But it also feels like a fresh start, and we're excited to take it one careful (and slightly chaotic!) step at a time.
