Alpine Onbuhimo
- Made in California
Alpine preorder is open: 9/10-9/16
Our favorite recommendation for toddlers, for summer, and for anyone looking for that perfect carrier to take them from the newborn days through the toddler years.
Simple silks:
- are perfect for the freshest of newborns, and rock-solid enough for the chunkiest of toddlers
- our favorite textile for summer - super lightweight, supportive, and breathable
- have a low profile for packability and dry quickly, great for any adventure
If you look closely at our Simple silk you will see that the perfection lies in the imperfection of the nubs and slubs of the hand-spun yarns. Full of unique character, these silk fibers are short allowing the carrier to have the tiniest amount of give without stretch so that it molds perfectly to you and your baby every time.
Crafted to perfection in our San Diego workshop, our Onbuhimo is a traditional Japanese-style baby carrier designed to be worn high on the back, but can also be worn on the front. This waistless carrier is perfect for babies 15-45 lbs who are sitting unassisted, and love exploring the world around them.
