Our Top 3 Tips

These additional pro-tips will help you get extra comfy in your RingSling.

Tip #1: Size your Sling First

The less adjustments you have to make with baby in the sling, the better. So, before you even pick baby up, size the sling to your body making sure sure you have only enough room to fit baby in. You want to make sure nothing is twisted, your rings are nice and high, and you’re ready to go!

Tip #2: Create a Deep Seat

A deep seat, or "M" seat, means that baby is sitting in a deep squat with their knees higher than their bum. A great way to ensure a deep seat is to sit baby ont he gathered sling, as shown here, making sure their knees are bent over the sling and their bottom hangs over the back before pulling fabric up and around baby.

Tip #3: Unlocking Rings

Did you know your baby’s weight locks the fabric in the rings?

As shown in the image from left to right: Gather extra slack, lift baby's weight to"unlock rings", and pull to tighten in small increments.

When you release the tension on the rings by lifting baby’s weight not only does the fabric slide better making it easier to adjust, this method will preserve the life of your sling!
