The Common Thread. A Sakura Bloom photo documentary celebrating the commonalities that we share through the capture of what makes us unique.

Paige Rangel

We are excited to introduce @thelovedesignedlife today in our feature:

Name: Paige Rangel

Kids + Ages: Adriano - 5, Alessandra - 2.5, Diego (almost) 1 year

Where you live: Phoenix, AZ by way of Colorado + Los Angeles

What is unique about the wall you're standing in front of:This is an old abandoned building near the train station in my smallish hometown in Colorado. When I was growing up, downtown was not really the place to be, but now there is a super cute farmer's market there on Saturdays and the downtown has really been revived! Since it is so hot in Arizona in the summers, the kids and I came here to see family for a month and I think it might become a new annual tradition.

I spend 80% of my time running around after my three kids and 20% of my time blogging + creating.  I always have some creative project in the works, but my latest @motherandchildco is one I am especially proud of. It's a celebration of motherhood captured with styled photography sessions and it just really makes my heart happy.

The strangest thing I ever discovered in the bottom of my bag was: water. I am forever spilling and/or cleaning up leaky water bottles [both my kids and my own] in my bag! Thankfully when the sling is in there, it soaks most of the water up! ;)

When I'm celebrating, you'll find me eatingcheese and/or chocolate and drinking champagne!

If I could have any superpower, it would be: to freeze time around me so I could have more hours in the day.

Making pancakes on the weekend, I'm listening to: the Beatles.

If I got pulled over for speeding, I'd most likely be listening to: Adele! haha.

If I could spend a month making the world a better place, I'd: get involved with a local program to help feed hungry children in our community.

Two of my fave Instagram feeds to follow are:@mamawatters and @oldjoy

My top tip for a new parent: have confidence in your intuition.

My favorite book recommendation: I honestly can't remember the last time I read a book! #threekids. Getting back into reading is definitely on my to-do [someday] list though!

If I could only have one Sakura Bloom on a desert island, I'd have:probably my Maple because it is both spit-up and sand colored! But this new Shabd Shibori color I'm wearing is my current fave!

If you get me talking about: really anything to do with motherhood you might as well cancel the rest of your day.

The name of my memoir would be: probably the same as my blog - The Love Designed Life.

The top item on my bucket list is: a yoga retreat, anywhere, would make me really, really happy.

If I could go anywhere in the world for a week, I'd choose: Paris + the South of France with my hubs.
