Introducing illustrator Samantha Hahn

Posted on

We couldn't have been more excited to work with Brooklyn-based illustrator and author (and our dear friend!) Samantha Hahn to put together the perfect Mother's Day gift. The moment we saw her beautiful new book, A Mother is a Story: A Celebration of Motherhood, we knew it was meant to be, and we knew that, paired with an exclusive notecard of one of her stunning quotes, printed just for us, it would be the perfect limited edition gift to accompany our newest Indigo sling.

We've known, loved, and worked with Samantha for years; not only did she make our iconic watercolor logo, but she also designed our Sakura Bloom Styleathon logo, the Sakura Bloom girl, and our latest banners, featured in Behind the Slings and Captured.  We also have fun things coming up this year that will also feature her gorgeous artwork!

Samantha has been internationally exhibited from New York to Hong Kong and has worked with a huge array of fashion clients including: Marc Jacobs, J.Crew, Vogue Japan, Teen Vogue, Glamour, Elle, Marie Claire, Seventeen, Condé Nast Traveller, Real Simple, The Knot, Essence, Oprah, New York Magazine/TheCut, Refinery29, Mac Cosmetics, The Hatch Collection, Tiffany’s, Victoria’s Secret, Neiman Marcus, Condé Nast, Saatchi & Saatchi, McCann Erickson, Random House, Anthropologie, Barnes & Noble, and many others.

We could not be happier to support Sam in the release of her new book A Mother is a Story: A Celebration of Motherhood and loved that she was able to make it to our fantastic NYC Indigo lookbook photo shoot:

For a limited time only, each Indigo sling with come with an exclusive notecard printed by our friends over at Social Print Studio and Samantha's newest book, A Mother is a Story. And in the meantime, check out the NYC Indigo Lookbook.
